CAFÉ SPONTANE — We hosted a series of summer gatherings in Antwerp together with St Vincents; a high-end boutique, multi-story café and event space. This edition was a celebration of the work by local makers, small producers, their personal stories and importantly craftsmanship. We created a visual story exploring our fascination for simplicity; a story about going back to the basics, to the source and sharing these ideals. The hand-made menu was a combination of bold typography and quite elegance and featured an essay about our thoughts on beautiful food and great company. Café Spontane is an initiative of Martina Bianchini (chef) and Fanny Olsthoorn (creative direction). The duo collaborated with many inspiring individuals such as photographers, sommeliers, confectioners and other creatives, to bring together their talents. Photography by Johanneke Procee.
